Taskrabbit | Get Someone Else To Do It
Women perform 76.2% of all unpaid care work globally.
That’s 3x the amount men do.
With all the BS you put up with every day of your life, you shouldn't have to lift a finger. Taskrabbit lets you take a load off and opt out of life for a little bit.
We’ll do the sh*t you don’t want to do.
The Tap Out Toolkit
Taskrabbit made a way more useful toolkit filled with everything you need to kick back on the couch while someone else does the work.
The toolkit comes with popcorn, a throw blanket and a tiny bell. We sent it out to hardworking female influencers to let them and their followers know that whatever needs fixing is not their problem.
Don’t @ Me
To continue the buzz on social, we dropped a feature that allowed women to take control and protect their peace.
All they have to do is add Don’t @ Me in their bio and anytime someone @’s them with a request to do something, the keyword catcher will delete the comment, immediately block them, and send that person a DM that says @username is no longer available.
Stick It To ‘Em
We got inside people’s homes where the problems are most potent, and made a pack of stickers for women to slap on the sh*t they don’t want to do.
A broken table leg? Stick it to ‘em. An unassembled bookshelf? Stick it to ‘em. That way, your tasker, along with everyone in your house, will know what THEY need to attend to.
The Ladies Lounge
We also built opt-out lounges at Lowe’s hardware stores across the country—because why should only men get a seating area when they’re sick of shopping with their girlfriend?
You don’t need to be at a hardware store because you don’t need to be doing sh*t. This relaxing lounge will have massage chairs, nap pods, and a Taskrabbit help desk because your man’s probably going to mess up whatever he’s trying to fix anyway.
The Peace Officer
Lastly, we created a comedic series on Instagram where we hired Wanda Sykes to follow 10 different women around and act as their bodyguard—protecting their peace.
Anytime someone tried to approach these women, asking them to do something, Wanda bounced them or fined them for trying.
